CCM: You’re getting known for hosting/DJ’ing dance parties on the touring circuit, is this also something you’re increasingly passionate about?
BD: I freaking love DJ’ing and hosting dance parties! I love the mandate, “Make people dance by any means necessary,” [laughs]. It’s great because nobody attends a dance party to not have fun.

CCM: How is dance/techno/EDM music a current influence on your new music?
BD: Our sound has always had snips of inspiration from dance/EDM. I love the way the arrangements are always building then giving you the ultimate pay off with the drop. I love blending that with the energy of a three-piece band turned up to eleven and the attitude/literalness of hip hop.

CCM: Who are some of your favorite authors? Artists or bands?
WH: CS Lewis, Malcolm Gladwell, and Henry Blackaby, to name a few. On the music side, I love Audio Adrenaline, PlankEye, Fee, Newsboys, NEEDTOBREATHE and of course, Rapture Ruckus.

CCM: Brad, who are some of your favorite artists right now/what are you mostly listening to?
BD: I’m usually mostly on the search for new artists and songs. I love discovering new vibes. It’s like, I’ve always got this feeling that I’m about to discover my new favorite band. Except when I’m in the kitchen, then its all old school classics [laughs]. Some my favorite records of 2017 came from Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, Andy Mineo, Logic, to name a few.
