As we turn the corner this wintry season, we often take time to reflect upon the last 12 months while we make decisions about the year ahead. As you think about the sort of hopes you have for 2019, we thought we’d ask some of our favorite artists for inspiration by giving us their own resolutions.
We polled our staff writers at CCM for their favorite albums in an attempt to generate a master list. While there was great variety among our staff, it was clear that a few albums made their way into the heads and hearts of everyone across the board.

Beautifully Broken is a film is about a refugee’s escape, a prisoner’s promise, and a daughter’s painful secret that converge in what is a true story of hope. Emily Hahn plays the part of Andrea Hartley (the daughter) and her secret is that she was sexually assaulted. Emily portrays Andrea’s journey through sexual abuse and finding peace even in times of deep hurt.
