Best Thing I Heard Today: Road Less Traveled ‘Rocks Cry Out’

I recently discovered the pop folk, Americana group Road Less Traveled comprised of Wes Winebarger (Vocals, Guitar, Keys) and Josh Smelser (Drums, Mandolin, Banjo, Vocals). Talk about two voices blending very well together...these guys have it. Their new song, "Rocks Cry Out," has more of a pop sound with a catchy hook than you might think for a "folk/Americana" band, but trust me, this song has a great hook. The Road Less Traveled's new song, "Rocks Cry Out," is the Best Thing I Heard Today.

The Singing Contractors Nail Their Sold-Out Opry Debut

Back in October, The Singing Contractors released their holiday album and DVD, Building a Christmas to Remember. Best Thing I Heard Today: James David William ‘This I My Communion’

James David William has a very unique sound. He's not your normal story-telling acoustic/folk singer/songwriter. If you're a fan of Mark Heard, John Mark McMillian, John Mark Pantana you're probably going to like this. If I can imagine David Bowie or Peter Murphy (of Bauhaus) sitting down with a guitar and playing a bunch of slower, intimate worship songs...it might sound like this. You should check him out. James David William's new song, "'This I My Communion'" is Best Thing I Heard Today!
