Sandra McCracken’s Steadfast Live (buy) is an intimate and inspired live recording (audio and video) from Nashville’s Art House that draws the listener in for a moving set of theologically rich and melodically warm worship songs. Featuring Liz Vice (Josh Garrels), Leslie Jordan and David Leonard (All Sons & Daughers), McCracken’s stripped down approach feels like a house church gathering, celebrating the character of God, the finished work of Jesus and the ongoing movement of the Holy Spirit. The title track sounds excellent in the sparse piano-driven setting, as does other moving favorites like “Trinity Song” and “All Ye Refugees.”
