Jonny Diaz: ‘Let It Fly’ album review

A cheerful, breezy, summer soundtrack, Let It Fly is a work of art. The countrytinged “Thank God I Got Her” is a fun departure for Diaz, and “Live Like He’s Alive” boasts his signature contemporary-pop style. Every track is well written and creatively arranged, revealing more depth and maturity than on his previous work. While the timing seems a bit odd, “Asleep In The Hay” is a beautiful Christmas addition that rounds out a meticulous record.
