Eight-time GRAMMY nominee and platinum-selling Christian music artist Tauren Wells has been nominated for two GRAMMY awards—Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance for “Famous For (I Believe),” and Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for Citizen of Heaven. The 63rd Annual GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021, on the CBS Television Network at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.

“I am absolutely stunned with the news of being recognized for two GRAMMY nominations from The Recording Academy,” Tauren says. “Everyone that contributed to the Citizen of Heaven album is so deserving of this honor and I’m humbled to be a part of such a poignant album and message. I’m so grateful!”

The news of Tauren’s GRAMMY nominations caps off an exciting year for the multi-talented artist. Earlier this year, Tauren took home awards for Contemporary Christian Music Artist of the Year, and Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year for Citizen of Heaven at the 2020 Dove Awards following a historic multi-genre collaborative performance of “Famous For (I Believe).” In addition, Tauren has been growing his resume with the debut of his podcast The High Note with Tauren Wells, available HERE.
