Liberty University professor Dr. Barron Bell, creator of Glyph-nominated Radio Free Amerika, transforms the biblical founding of the kingdom of Israel into an epic space opera in DOMINION: Fall of the House of Saul. The second chapter of this ongoing series is produced by Terminus Media and releases on December 23, 2020.
DOMINION is the story of King Saul as seen in the book of 1 Samuel reimagined for a new generation. On the brink of war, a royal family is in crisis. A king who has lost the favor of his deity and control of the kingdom, a son desperately seeking his father’s approval, a daughter longing for a purpose beyond being a pampered princess, and a queen struggling behind the scenes to keep everything together.
“This is the Bible as you’ve never seen it before,” said artist and creator, Dr. Barron Bell. “If you like spaceships, warriors in mechanized armor, and political intrigue, then you’ll love DOMINION. Oh, by the way, all of the characters are animals.”
“DOMINION will serve as the flagship title for Terminus Media’s new rollout,” added Mark Stancil, president, and CEO. “We recently changed our business model to publish only faith-based and family-friendly comics. Not only will DOMINION be a fantastic ride, but it may also get new readers interested in the source material… the Bible.”
This intense adaptation of the classic Biblical tale will hopefully be an alternative to more objectionable material in comics today, all the while inspiring a love of sci-fi and fantasy.
DOMINION: Fall of the House of Saul chapter 2 will be available in digital on December 23rd, 2020 and in print January 2021. DOMINION chapter 1 is now available on the Comixology app.
