Nashville, TN (April 1, 2019)
Christian/Gospel indie artist David Andrew has released his newest song, “There Will Be Light.” On his second single, David delivers his signature sound of soul music infused with elements of pop and gospel. Although not directly stated, “There Will Be Light” covers the topic of sickness and death. David explores his own difficult experience with this topic and his realization that God can be found in the darkest of situations. This surprisingly upbeat and uplifting new single was produced by Justin Amundrud (Elevation Worship and Hillsong NYC) and was co-written with country music artist, songwriter Taylor Zebracki.

David Andrew was born in Detroit and raised in Gallatin, TN. He has been labeled as one of Nashville’s future greatest songwriters by staff at BMI and he won Belmont University’s Christian Showcase in 2018. His music is heavily influenced by artists like Tori Kelly, Kierra Sheard, and John Legend. David blends his unique sound with lyrics that have the power to bring people of different backgrounds to Christ.

Regarding David’s debut single “Letting It Go,” Christine Harazim from Nashville Offbeat stated that “You don’t have to be from a certain background or certain walk of life to really enjoy the beauty that his music exhibits.”
