Cana’s Voice – ‘This Changes Everything’ album review

Cana's Voice, CCM Magazine - imageCana’s Voice may be a brand new group, but members Jody McBrayer (formerly of Avalon), Doug Anderson (previously of Signature Sound) and TaRanda Greene (who’s appeared with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir among others) are some of Christian music’s most beloved singers. Put them all together with Dove Award winning producer Wayne Haun, and this super trio is absolute dynamite when it comes to harmonies, solos and all around inspiration. Blending contemporary pop with hints of country and southern gospel stylings, This Changes Everything revolves around a theme of hope for the hopeless, particularly those who feel like they’re ready to throw in the towel on their faith. But by the end of the 13-track collection (which includes songwriting contributions from Haun, CeCe Winans, Tommy Sims and others), listeners are sure to feel recharged from not only the moving messages, but also the sheer majesty of these three gifted voices blending together.
