Well, I didn't have to get too many songs in on today's New Music Friday Christian playlist to hear something pretty darned good. Branan Murphy dropped a new single today and it's very catchy. Well, another New Music Friday Christian music playlist has dropped and as usual, I've clicked, listened, skipped and re-played my way through it. I haven't had time to really dive in deep yet, but one songs stands out to me and my music tastes...and that's the new Zach Williams single, 'Empty Grave.' You probably won't hear this one a lot on Christian radio as it's a bit more gritty rock and less A/C for that audience. But for me, Zach Williams's new song 'Empty Grave' is the Best Thing I Heard Today!

Cherry Wee is a new indie artist, singer/songwriter from Singapore. She's got a very nice, pure folk worship voice and vibe that I think you're going to dig. Cherry Wee's version of "Be Thou My Vision" is the Best Thing I Heard Today! Check her out!

Jervis Campbell is a relatively new Christian music artist from Charlotte, NC that now lives in Nashville. He has a unique blend of rock, R&B, Folk, and Gospel influences that makes for a really nice vibe. If you're not familiar, you should definitely go check him out. Think Zach Williams or Rhett Walker....kind of. Jervis Campbell's newest single, "Glory," is the Best Thing I Heard Today!

Sam Rivera is a new Christian pop music singer/songwriter who writes very personal songs birthed out of life experiences that he hopes will inspire and motivate others who are lost or losing faith...and encourage them to get closer to Christ. Sam's new song "It's OK to Be Human" is the Best Thing I Heard Today!

I had never heard of The Vicious Vic until today but I am so glad I did. I wouldn't really call him rap or hip-hop because that would be too limiting...there is just too much pop sensibility in his music to just slot it in as hip-hop. His new song "Know My Name" is the Best Thing I Heard Today!

The new Whys of the Wise song "Detonate" is the Best Thing I Heard Today! In fact, it's one of the best songs I heard in several months!
