A massive “Celebration” is the best way to describe Winter Jam rolling into Norfolk, Virginia’s Chartway Arena at Old Dominion University March 18th. With the pandemic finally easing in Southeast Virginia, there was a lot of hugging going on between Christian music fans for the first time in nearly two years. A sense of excitement, anticipation and relief filled the venue.

It felt incredible to be in a sold-out venue with pandemic restrictions lifted. The Stand Together Tour featuring Newsboys and special guests Danny Gokey, Mac Powell, and Adam Agee played for a packed house at Mount Vernon Baptist Church near Richmond, Virginia.

Winter Jam 2022 kicked off in Charleston, West Virginia on January 7th with around eight inches of snowfall the previous night and frigid temperatures. Undaunted, fans poured into the Charleston Coliseum & Civic Center for the incredible lineup of Skillet, Tauren Wells, KB, Colton Dixon, I Am They, Newsong, and Kevin Quinn

Colton Dixon hit the ground running this year on the spring Drive-In Theater Tour with Skillet and Jordan Feliz, performed at various summer festivals, then hit the road again in September on both the Stand in Faith fall tour with Danny Gokey and the World Vision® Presents Colton Dixon: Miracles Tour featuring Hannah Kerr and Jordan St Cyr.

Skillet and Ledger finally rock the Vines Center after rescheduling twice during the pandemic. Parents and students converged for the concert during the College for a Weekend event at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Enjoy the new CCM photo gallery from Annette Holloway.

Twenty-six years after a group of Christians gathered and prayed for gospel artists to fill what is now Blue Ridge Amphitheater, the first annual Worship at the Mountain Music Festival came to fruition Labor Day weekend.
