Smith) and Mitch Dane (Jars of Clay, Bebo Norman). The results find the fellas expanding their sonic repertoire to include horns, electronics and vibrant harmonies galore, while hopping between pop, soul, folk and hip-hop. Though it might sound all over the map, it actually comes across as delightfully diverse, which coupled with the guys’ joyful proclamations of faith and encouraging reminders to cling tightly to their beliefs no matter how severe the storm make for a worthwhile follow-up to 2014’s already strong self-titled start.
