Sweet and Lynch: ‘Only To Rise’ album review

Hard rock rarely sounded sweeter than this brand super duo comprised of singer Michael Sweet (Stryper, Boston) and guitar great George Lynch (Lynch Mob, Dokken), who are backed by bassist James LoMenzo (Megadeth, White Lion) and drummer Brian Tichy (Whitesnake). With the front man and six string slinger sharing songwriting duties, there’s mounds of melodic sensibility at every turn, alongside positive messages spanning several facets of love to the undeniably divine.
