Two years after I Am Empire released their Tooth & Nail debut, Kings, the San Jose quintet is back with a proper follow-up anchored by the hearton- sleeve modern rock anthems that fans will undoubtedly love. “All Around Me Now” conjures early Muse, “Sing” towers with stellar layered harmonies and “Daylight” aims for radio success. A strong mix for the band’s sophomore turn.
