Myron Butler & Levi – ‘On Purpose’ album review

Myron Butler + Levi, CCM Magazine - imageLet there be no question about the biggest gospel release of the summer. Myron Butler & Levi celebrate ten years of working together with the power-packed On Purpose, a star-studded affair that includes luminaries like Tamela Mann and Bishop T.D. Jakes alongside the acclaimed duo. The entire worship set encourages the believer to move forward through new life in Christ, from giving God their “Best Praise” to realizing they can move on from painful places on the title track. This studio release would sound especially dynamic in a live setting with several spirited cuts, but maybe that’s an idea for MB&L’s next 10 years.
