Indie husband-wife folk/pop duo Jenny & Tyler offers a breath of musical fresh air with There Will Be A Song, which features 14 tracks three years in the making. The largely self-penned new album stays true to the duo’s folk roots, allowing sweet vocal harmonies and guitar to dominate this sonically pleasing musical palette.

There Will Be a Song drifts lazily from the thoroughly country love song “A Boy & A Girl (We’re Getting Older)” to the melancholy wail of apology on “I’m Sorry,” highlighting this couple’s talent for capturing – in both lyrics and vocals – the depth of emotions that run through human relationships—with one another or with God. Another highlight is the title track “O Freedom (There Will Be a Song),” which features African-born singer/songwriter NoMaD and takes the listener on a musical journey climbing to a symphonic crescendo—a musical mountaintop experience.

Jenny & Tyler have toured with Audrey Assad and Sara Groves and were featured on Andrew Peterson’s Behold the Lamb of God Tour a couple of years ago. If you are a fan of those acclaimed singer/songwriters and of acts like The Civil Wars and All Sons and Daughters, you’ll love Jenny & Tyler.
