ICF Worship – Only Jesus Album Review

ICF Worship
Only Jesus EP
(Integrity)

If you catch something of a global feel in the melodies and musicianship of ICF Worship’s Only Jesus release, that’s because the album stems from the annual ICF worship conference—held in Zurich, Switzerland this year. International Christian Fellowship is now a church planting movement throughout Europe with over 50 locations, and this anthemic worship release lends insight into the musical flavors found throughout. These songs are synth-steeped, from the pulsing call of “Alive (Breathe on Me)” to the atmospheric space created on the title track. “Speechless” shows that worship tracks don’t have to be overly sing-along in nature with a smart pop refrain of surrender that might be the album’s highlight.
