Hearts Like Lions: ‘These Hands EP’ album review

Almost a year after Hearts Like Lions successfully and independently funded their EP, These Hands, via Kickstarter, the trio have landed on Tooth & Nail’s roster who will serve as a proper home for these promising tracks. “Wake Up” and the midpoint of “Stranger” evoke Manchester Orchestra comps, a nice starting point for a young band with loads of potential. They’re under-the-radar for now, but T&N will know how to develop this rock band from Long Beach.
