Wande’s signing announcement comes with much anticipation as many fans of the Reach Records label have been calling for a female artist. “We’ve been getting asked when we’d sign a woman at every [show, so we’re happy to welcome her to the family tonight,” said, fellow artist and label owner Lecrae, when introducing Wande for the first time to a sold-out Orlando, FL audience on the Unashamed Forever Tour.

“Blessed Up” is the first official release for the Texas-bred, now Atlanta-based emcee which she also announces today. The song features pounding 808’s and crisp trap drums that highlight Wande’s infectious cadences and undeniable bars. “The song is me pouring out my life and offering encouragement to listeners. I want to encourage in a low place where you feel broken and torn down, you can’t stay there.”

Wande is proudly Texas-born and bred. You may recognize her from appearances on other Reach Records that have been featured on NBCs’ So You Think You Can Dance.
