The Dupree family is rooted in the core of their faith and their music. Lauren was raised in East Tennessee where music was an integral part of her life. The musical bond progressed as Dylan and Lauren played music at church for many years. Dylan studied guitar from the age of 7, and has always been passionate to combine his craft with his ministry.

Story Behind the Song:
“’He Tells Me (Who I Am)’ is a song about God telling you who you are and not anyone else. If anyone tries to tell you that you are not valid or that you are not good enough that is your time to remember that you are a child of God made in His image. If Jesus puts a desire on someones heart to do something, then that person should listen to the calling regardless of what anyone else thinks. Some things are meant to be left between you and our Father in Heaven.” —Dupree
