For Franni Cash, growth didn’t come without a little fear.

“Stepping away from my band was one of the hardest, scariest decisions I’ve ever made,” she admits. After years of finding success as a member of the Grammy-nominated group We The Kingdom, Cash found herself standing at a crossroads — ready to leave behind what was familiar and step into something unknown.

That leap of faith has led her to a new beginning — one that’s already beginning to bloom. Cash’s debut solo single, “Wildflowers,” is a fitting introduction to the next chapter of her journey. The song, with its breezy banjo-driven groove and wide-open sense of wonder, captures the spirit of discovery she’s been living out for the past eighteen months.

“Wildflowers is the first bloom of a new season of clarity and peace for me, but it’s also an open invitation for anyone to experience what I’ve been through,” Cash shares.

The song wasn’t chosen at random. For Cash, “Wildflowers” encapsulates the hope and openness she feels as she moves into life as a solo artist. “‘Wildflowers’ feels light, open, full of breath and optimism,” she says. “That’s how I feel about the start of this new chapter in my life and it’s the vibe I hope others can feel.”

Fans won’t have to wait long to see Cash bring her new music to the stage. This June, she’ll make her CMA Fest debut on the Good Molecules Reverb Stage, followed by a performance at Bonnaroo’s Who Stage. In the fall, she’ll join Brandon Lake on his King of Hearts Tour.
