Nashville, TN (November 20, 2020)
Norwegian-born and raised country singer/songwriter Daniel Borge has released a new Christmas single titled, “Labor of Love.” Written by Andrew Peterson, Borge’s version of the track was produced by Brad Hill in Nashville, TN.

The song offers a version of the Christmas story that is a bit different than what listeners might be used to hearing around this time of year. The heartfelt song takes a realistic look at the Nativity setting and the sacrifices that Mary made for the birth of Jesus. “Labor of Love,” a mid-tempo track, features stripped-down production that highlights Borge’s rich, powerful vocals.

Borge explained that his family inspired him to release this particular Christmas song. “This song is special to me because it’s my wife and kids’ favorite Christmas song—they love the strong lyrics and the story.”
