Nashville, TN (February 19, 2021)
GRAMMY Award winning Christian music artist Chris Tomlin and multi-platinum recording artist Russell Dickerson recently took part in CRS Believers Breakfast to discuss how to stay Faith-centered in the music industry, living in the spotlight with humility, leading spiritually-fulfilling lives and fatherhood, each with new babies born in 2020. The Believers Breakfast is one of four mentoring breakfasts taking place this week as part of CRS 2021: The Virtual Experience and was organized by Gator Harrison and Lou Ramirez. The Believers Breakfast will be available to registered CRS 2021 attendees, via the On Demand page of crsvirtual2021.com for 60 days, following the conclusion of CRS 2021 on Friday, February 19.

Chris and Russell’s friendship began when Russell was a guitar tech on tour for Chris several years ago. Over the years, the pair remained friends and recently teamed up to write and record two songs for Chris’ latest album, Chris Tomlin & Friends, which features some of country music’s biggest artists. Last fall, Chris and Russell performed together on the Grand Ole Opry.

Chris’ new single from Chris Tomlin & Friends is “God Who Listens” featuring Thomas Rhett. The song was written by Chris, Thomas, Ashley Gorley and David Garcia and is the follow up to Chris’ 17th #1 single “Who You Are To Me” featuring Lady A.

Russell’s fourth consecutive no. 1 single, “Love You Like I Used To” off his sophomore album, Southern Symphony, celebrated its RIAA platinum certification. In its 21st consecutive week on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart, the runaway hit achieved a tie for the record for longest run of a single inside the Top 10. Russell’s current single, “Home Sweet,” was released earlier this month on the eight-year anniversary of his marriage proposal to his now wife.
