Christian hip-hop (CHH) artist iNTELLECT has never been one to shy away from topics of injustice and how the scriptures guide us to react. On his newest single, “Help Us,” the Ohio based emcee is taking a direct approach in regards to what we are seeing in the headlines daily.

“Help Us,” was produced by The Illustrated One, and is the first single from iNTELLECT since he dropped his album Polished Arrows earlier this year.

iNTELLECT had this to say about the inspiration behind the track, “the recent racial tension has impacted all of us in some way. This song is a way for me to sort things out by seeking God’s perspective.”

The song holds true to iNTELLECT’s classic, boom-bap style. With consistent delivery and vivid imagery, he continues to prove that he is one of CHH’s strongest connections to an era of hip hop that has been seeing a bit of a resurgence within the genre.
