Billboard No.1 independent recording artist, songwriter and producer Bryan Popin was honored for his chart-topping hit gospel song “I Got Out” at ASCAP’s signature urban music event, the 31st Annual ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards in Los Angeles at the The Beverly Wilshire.

“I Got Out” was the second single from Popin’s 2017 released Billboard No.1 sophomore project I GOT OUT (Little Boy Wonder/Flaydo Music/Fuel Music). The single reached No. 4 on Billboard Gospel Airplay chart and spent over 20 weeks in the Top 10. The song has earned Popin numerous award nominations and recognitions.

A native of NJ, Bryan Popin was a piano protégé by his early teens. Later in his career, the legendary Stevie Wonder nicknamed him the “Little Boy Wonder” and he’s continued to impress with his songwriting, keyboard skills and vocal flow. He’s written with R&B legend Chaka Khan, opened for Tye Tribbett, Israel Houghton, Deitrick Haddon, Donnie McClurkin, Marvin Sapp and American Idol alum Danny Gokey. At the height of their popularity, Justin Timberlake’s *NSYNC recorded one of Popin’s songs for their multi-platinum album and stadium tour, Celebrity.
