GRAMMY nominated, internationally renowned artist collective Bethel Music took home several awards at the 52nd GMA Dove Awards. The collective was up for the greatest number of awards in their 10-year history with 16 nominations across 13 categories. Among the wins were Songwriter of the Year (Artist) for Brandon Lake and Contemporary Gospel Recorded Song of the Year for Dante Bowe. Lake also took home Worship Recorded Song of the Year for his feature and writing contribution on “Graves into Gardens” with Elevation Worship. Bethel Music also celebrates the win of Elevation Worship/Maverick City Music for Worship Album of the Year for Old Church Basement, on which several members of the collective appear.

“We always look forward to Dove Awards season,” shares Joel Taylor, Bethel Music CEO. “It’s really not about winning awards, it’s about celebrating how God is working through the entire Christian music community to impact millions of lives. The awards are just a way of acknowledging and celebrating the gifting on people’s lives and the impact they’ve had for the Kingdom. The fact that Bethel Music got to play a small role in this year’s celebration and for our artists to receive these awards was such an honor. We still pinch ourselves that we get to do what we do and it was exciting to get to see the impact in tangible form the way we did this year.”

Last month, Bethel Music released their 12th live compilation album, Homecoming (Live). The powerful 16 song offering embodies everything that the group stands for and marks the first time that the entire collective has appeared on the same album. Recorded over three nights in July 2021, Homecoming is an outpouring of love and a testament to the community that Bethel Music has built over the last twenty years.
