If you follow this blog you must know by now that I admit quite often that I am a bigger fan os some genres over others and that one of my musical deficiencies is in more traditional genres like gospel and southern gospel music.

That being said, I am also a firm believer that a really good song transcends it genre. So, when I hear an exceptional song from a genre that is outside my wheelhouse, I can still enjoy it…and I think you might as well.

The Gaither Vocal Band‘s new song “This Is The Place” is the Best Thing I Heard Today!

“This Is The Place” Lyrics:
Come, my child, there is a place
When you’re lost, you will be found
You’ll be safe, and you’ll belong
You will hear the sweetest sound

Chorus
This is the place where we pray
This is the place where we cry
This is the place where we start
“’Til death do us part.”
Where we say, “Goodbye.”
Here we leave all our pain
Find forgiveness and grace
Here we walk down the aisle; dedicate every child
Here in this sacred place

Break some bread; come, share the wine
At this table there is a place
Bring your fears; take His peace
Come and share this Holy space

Chorus

Holy, Holy
Holy, Holy
God Almighty, Emmanuel

Chorus

Holy, Holy, Holy
