"Between the Shadow and the Sun" reveals UK-based artist Lucy Grimble’s journey over the last three years from a creative, spiritual, and mental standpoint. Started during the pandemic, the new concept album unpacks trauma, doubt, unrest, and loss with unmatched honesty. Over 10 songs, she artistically tells the common human story of our world and its recent events, whilst soaking listeners in the lightness of hoping in God. The themes of darkness and light became a framework for Lucy, reflecting where she found herself and unlocking new songs in the process.

British worship artist Lucy Grimble releases the last single before her awaited studio album releasing on October 6th, 2023. The new song is called “Ready for the Dawn,” and was written in 2020 amid an intense period of writer’s block resulting from the trauma of the pandemic, internal struggles within, and daunting mental health challenges.
