TRIBL congratulates Maverick City Music for grabbing five nominations for the 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards. Maverick City Music earned nominations in both the Gospel and Contemporary Christian categories—and double nods in Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song.

Maverick City Music + Kirk Franklin will join NBC's TODAY Show during the 9am hour to perform "Kingdom," a poignant fan-favorite off their collab album, Kingdom Book One. Additionally, Franklin and Maverick City Music co-founders Tony Brown and Jonathan Jay will discuss the movement behind and creation of their latest music, shining a light on mass incarceration.

GRAMMY Award-winning Maverick City Music took the mainstage at the 2022 BET Awards. They performed their monster-streaming collaborative hit "Kingdom" and 16x GRAMMY winner Kirk Franklin's 1995 smash single "Melodies from Heaven." The legendary group then took the stage again, alongside Diddy and Faith Evans, to perform the duo's iconic chart-topper "I'll Be Missing You."

Five-time GRAMMY-nominated and Stellar Award-winning collective, Maverick City Music, celebrates earning its first #1 Billboard Gospel National Airplay single, “Jireh,” (Elevation Worship & Maverick City Music). “Jireh” is lifted from the 2021 album Old Church Basement, in collaboration with Elevation Worship and was written by Steven Furtick, Chandler Moore, Naomi Raine and Chris Brown.

The multi-cultural worship collective, Village Lights, has released its full-length debut, Kingdom. The trio includes Sarah Kroger, Ricky Vazquez, and Ike Ndolo.
