Awakening Events has announced that 3X Grammy® nominee Danny Gokey will bring his Better Than I Found It Tour to 18 cities this spring. Also featuring Christian music radio hitmakers Unspoken and The Young Escape, the tour will kick off on April 16, in Augusta, GA and will feature stops in Springfield, MO, Woodbridge, VA, and more, before concluding on May 17 in Akron, OH.

Christian music artist, Danny Gokey, continues to demonstrate his musical success earning chart-topping hits and award nominations, including three GRAMMY nominations. But few are aware of the debilitating fear that nearly kept him from catching his big break, a story Gokey is now sharing in a new short film from I Am Second, a storytelling organization.

Christian music star Danny Gokey has released a new music video for his Christmas song, "The Holidays Are Here," from The Greatest Gift: A Christmas Collection.

Danny Gokey has reason to celebrate this holiday season, as the former American Idol star received two Recording Academy GRAMMY nominations for the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards in 2020. His tow nominations shares the lead for the most in the Contemporary Christian Music category along with for KING & COUNTRY and Kirk Franklin.

Capitol Christian Music Group is celebrating 22 nominations for the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards. Announced yesterday, these nominations encompass nods across all divisions of the company, including Capitol Christian Label Group, Motown Gospel, Publishing and Commercial Partnerships.

Despite suffering badly burned feet at a show in Virginia November 10th, Danny Gokey was able to finish his 31 city 'The Hope Encounter Tour' this week.  Audiences after the burn incident had seen Danny performing while sitting down, however, at the tour finale, his feet were healed enough to wear shows and even dance!

Danny Gokey performed at a show in Richmond, VA after suffering severe burns to both his feet. A wardrobe steamer reservoir tipped over, scalding both of his feet, but he was able to get medical attention quickly and took the stage with little delay.
