Grammy award winner, Zach Williams is back with his distinct Southern Rock sound on his Sophomore LP Rescue Story. The title track has already enjoyed time in the Top 10 on radio. Lyrically, this album speaks of the struggles of this world and the ever presence help and salvation of God. Williams calls the listener to leave the old self behind and to strive to be more Christlike.
A duet with Dolly Parton on the single “There Was Jesus” reminds us that even when we can’t see past our circumstances of the moment that Christ is right beside us on the journey. “Face to Face” is reminiscent of a church hymn reassuring us of our true home.
This album solidifies Williams as artist that has staying power after the success of his first album Chain Breaker.
