The Fifth Service – ‘Proven’ album review 3 Overall Score Label:Living Word Christian Center For Fans Of:Hillsong Young & Free We Like:"Glory Be" The Fifth Service – ‘Proven’ album review Matt Conner April 28, 2016 A Friday night young adult worship gathering at Living Word Christian Center in Minneapolis named The Fifth Service has given way to an indie worship project entitled Proven. Some tracks have congregational potential and run the gamut from synth heavy fare like “Let’s Get It Started” and “Adventure” to lighter or more traditional worship fare like “Found My Place” or “Glory Be.” These songs could use a more polished touch in studio or even a complete move into a live setting to capture a dynamism that’s lost here on Proven. That said, a fresh voice in the mix has never hurt anyone. One Response Kevin Weiers May 13, 2016 Love “Glory Be” … It’s been on repeat for weeks. Also, that last track, “Beyond the Shore” is a nice little surprise at the end… Totally fits the album artwork too. Nice project, beginning to end.
