When you hear that a band is an outgrowth of a middle and high school ministry of a particular church, you might naturally expect music that is earnestly delivered but erring toward an amateur, immature sound. But when that church (Life.Church) includes over 7,000 students around the country, those expectations might be wrong.

Symphony is a collection of energetic pop worship music that will resonate with its target audience and beyond. The album contains strong vocals from a variety of worship leaders, but the loops are a little too prominent, at the expense of other instrumentation. The title track, “Symphony” featuring Dillon Chase, is a high point, heralding the reminder of Romans 8:28 in the midst of chaos and doubt.
