Sarah Brusco: ‘The Woven Whisper’ album review

Born after a frightening diagnosis (and later, healing) of a tumor on her vocal cords, this moving album from worship leader Sarah Brusco is not only encouraging, it is inspiring. Her sweet, strong vocal rests gently on a backdrop of lilting worship melodies, on songs like “A Breath,” and, “Make Your Home Inside My Heart.” She got her start singing with the community at Vineyard Columbus, and it shows in her art-ful and insightful vocal work on “Leading Me On,” where her passions and skills shine.
