NF – ‘Therapy Session’ album review

Nate Feuerstein admits the sophomore recording “can be tricky,” but NF deftly follows up last year’s powerful debut Mansion with another confessional, Therapy Session. “Intro 2,” the title track and “How Could You Leave Us” come out swinging from an emotional, even abusive, background. Given the title, NF is baring all, from how little money he’s bringing home as an artist to the questions for those who abandoned him as a kid. Such honesty is often avoided, but NF has built a substantial audience very quickly because of his raw, open approach. There’s no need to turn back now, and fortunately NF digs deeper on an impressive second album.
