Lauren Daigle: ‘How Can It Be’ album review

There is something so pure about newcomer Lauren Daigle, it is hard to believe she is even new at this at all. Welcome, now, the full-length version to her successful EP of the same title that released last year. Continued on new material, her voice is organic and grounded in angelic, earthy tones. In case you missed it the first time around, Daigle soars on her single “How Can It Be,” and offers perfect harmonies on “Power To Redeem” (with guests All Sons and Daughters). “I Am Yours” is rich with smart musicality and vocals—right in her range. From top to bottom, this project showcases one of the best and brightest young voices in Christian music with the skills and prowess of a veteran songstress.
