Gungor – ‘One Wild Life: Soul’ album review

Representing part one of the One Wild Life trilogy, Soul is the newest effort from husband and wife-led and multiple GRAMMY nominated musical collective Gungor. From the arrangements and phrasings, to the melodies and genre-bendings— Soul is expertly crafted and calls for all within earshot to take immediate notice. The pop-sensibilities of “Moon Song,” “One Wild Life,” and “Us For Them” contrast the haunts of “Am I” and “Vapor,” but all the same announce the bold, future sounds of this ever-evolving and ultra-innovative outfit.
