Derek Johnson: ‘Real Love’ album review

As member of Jesus Culture, the Sacramento, CA based worship collective, Derek Johnson has been an integral part of the global modern worship movement since 2011. His first full-length solo effort is fueled by a compelling gospel-driven feel and shines on tunes “My Great Love and “The One We Love”—reminding us why he makes for such an engaging leader. A bit more innovation would have been nice, but his performances are passionate and moving.
