David and Nicole Binion “Dwell: A Live Worship Experience” Album Review

Dwell: A Live Worship Experience
(Integrity Music)

For over two decades, David and Nicole Binion have led thousands in worship. As they set their sights on mentoring the next generation of worship leaders, their Intergrity debut Dwell: A Live Worship Experience finds the husband and wife duo joining a host of special guests in a collection of multi-generational, diverse praise. The Binions’ signature sound recalls the spontaneity and beauty of classic worship music. Guest appearances from their daughter MDSN and gospel greats Tasha Cobbs Leonard, William McDowell, and Travis Greene take the sound to a whole new level, from the roof-raising gospel of “Doxology (Hallelujah)” to a more 2010s sound on tracks like “Hunger.” Like most live albums, sometimes it feels like you had to be there to experience the full impact, but at least Dwell gives us a glimpse of the beauty of God’s people singing together… and for that, it’s a powerful addition to their career.
