Boiling Point is an independent pop/ rock band from the Twin Cities with a new album, More. If that sounds too simple and straightforward, it’s because the album is just that. Boiling Point’s lyrics are plain statements on hope, faith and identity; and the music follows suit with conventional constructs. There’s nothing wrong with up-tempo numbers like “Put Your Hands Up” or slower singles like “When You’ve Lost It All.” The problem is that you’ve heard it all before.
