Much has been lauded about Alisa Turner’s foray into releasing records—perhaps no one is more deserving, considering the road she has trod to get here. Linking arms with the GRAMMY-nominated led All About Worship collective’s Michael Farren (who also produced Turner’s EP) caps the notion she’s a music biz vet, and this EP sounds like the culmination of so much dedicated pavement pounding should. Truth is, for all her years of hustling, she has endured exponential physical and emotional setbacks. So, for someone like Turner to boldly sing lines like Let the hard times hear me say it / I’m more-than gonna make it (“More Than Going to Make It”), it should shine like the brightest beacon that all things are possible through Christ. A voice of the hopeful fearlessly pouring out hope, Alisa Turner will soon become one of Christian music’s most recognizable voices.
