The Provident Entertainment family of artists, labels, films, songwriters, and publishers is pleased to announce multiple nominations in 22 categories for the 53rd Annual GMA Dove Awards. All of the nominees were announced virtually yesterday for the show, which will be held Tuesday, October 18 at Lipscomb University‘s Allen Arena and air Friday, Oct. 21 at 8pm ET and 10pm ET exclusively on Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN) and the TBN app. The theme for this year’s awards is Sound Of Heaven.

The nominations are across several Provident Entertainment entities—Provident Label Group, RCA Inspiration, Distribution, Films, and Essential Music Publishing. Top nominations include Matthew West with seven nominations, six for producer and songwriter Jonathan Smith, five nominations for Chris Brown and Steven Furtick of Elevation Worship, and four for breakout artist DOE, including New Artist of the Year. Zach Williams is nominated for Artist of the Year, while another breakout artist, Ryan Ellis, is also nominated for New Artist of the Year.

Voted on by the GMA Professional Membership, this year’s nominees were chosen from over 2,000 submitted entries and include a wide range of creativity and artistic integrity in both artist and non-artist categories.

Nominees were announced in an artist-hosted livestream event on the GMA Dove Awards YouTube and Facebook pages.
