Estella felt God had something He wanted to say to her about the current global situation, so she prayed for clarity and was led to Psalm 91. That inspired her to write her very first single, “Shelter in the Storm” (officially out May 5), which she’s releasing as a way to spread hope during this global pandemic. The new song was co-written by her producer Kira Fontana, a former top L.A. celebrity vocal coach to major labels and shows such as Glee and The Voice. Estella Kirk ‘Shelter in the Storm’ Music Video ‘Shelter in the Storm ‘ Lyrics: Feels like the walls could cave in Look around and the whole world’s changing Never be the way it was before Locked down, and our hope is fading Knocked down, and our hearts are breaking Don’t know how to fight an unseen war But we won’t fear The shadows in the night You’re here… Your arms are open wide We’ll be still, and know that You are God You’re our shelter You’re the shelter in the storm You’re the one we’re searching for Even when we fight this war You’re our rock, you’re our shield, You’re our shelter Hold on, never stop believing Hold on when we’re barely breathing Oh Lord, You will make a way Stand firm when the world is shaken We know who we put our faith in We go to battle when we pray We won’t fear The shadows in the night You’re here… Your arms are open wide We’ll be still, and know that You are God You’re our shelter You’re the shelter in the storm You’re the one we’re searching for Even when we fight this war You’re our rock, you’re our shield, You’re our shelter Thank God for the air we’re breathing Thank God that our heart’s are beating Thank God, He’s given us this life Thank God for the chains He’s breaking Thank God for the lives He’s saving You’re our rock You’re our shield You’re the shelter in the storm You’re the Everlasting Lord Even when we fight this war There’s no war that You won’t win You’re our shelter Even in the darkest night We can see Your love burn bright We will lift Your name up high You’re our rock You’re our shield You’re our shelter Look up and the whole world’s praying You hear every word we’re saying Thank God, we know we’re not alone Written by Kira Fontana & Estella Kirk Produced by Josh “Igloo” Monroy Directed by Zack Patrick Production Company / Label: Kingdom Sound: http://www.kingdomsound.net Leave a Reply Cancel ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
