Growing up painfully shy and quiet, Casii Stephan (pronounced ‘Casey’ and, yes, that is her given name!) would spend hours invested in between the pages of books. Content with the “surety” of a happy ending and an escape from life’s reality, all she ever wanted was to be left alone. God, as always, had other plans.

When given a choice between hanging on to her fear of people (a.k.a. being shy) or casting the fear aside for more of God, she chose to let go. Along her journey, she also learned to let go of the fear of rejection and to let love in…

With influences ranging from Broadway musicals to bluegrass, Enya & Switchfoot, Casii’s voice tells her story with a soulful conviction that doesn’t sacrifice a strong pop sensibility. With the release of her debut EP, Let Love In, she’s looking forward to all the adventures she will experience now that she is truly living her own story.
