Along with husband, Deacon Wade Clark Sr. they own “Promises of God Production Co.”, “Great Commission Outreach-Ministry”, “Anti-Bullying Grassroot Movement”, and “Joy N The Spirit Songwriting & Publishing Co”.
Their new EP is a compilation including Carmelita’s original testimony song, “Use Me Lord/In Your Own Way”. It is her second song to receive local and national airplay. In Kansas City, Mo., the largest African American radio station KPRT 1590 AM rated “Use Me Lord” sung by Bobbie Davis-Harvey of the famous Alma Whitney Singers, #27 in the top 100 gospel hits played in 2011. The song also received 3rd place in the top five category for Outstanding Achievement in Songwriting Award from The Great America Songwriting Contest, January 2001. Carmelita, under the direction of the Holy Spirit is now promoting her CCM arrangement of “Use Me Lord”” sung by the soulful, smooth vocals of Ronnie Kimball and produced by Nashville’s own, Kim Copeland Productions. She also hopes you will enjoy the fun, joyful, Praise & Worship song, “It’s So Easy To Say”. On the compilation is a song she wrote in memory of her Dad, a minister and she tells the story about her upbringing in the country community of Leeds entitled, “Please and Thank You”. Both are sung by the talented Rachael Williams and again produced by Kim Copeland.
