New Music Exclusive Artist: Amethyst Heart

Amethyst Heart is a Christian rock band from Northern Virginia with a mission to bring a positive message of hope to a lost and dying world. We are influenced by our love of the classic rock of the 70’s, the hair metal bands of the 80’s, and the alternative rock bands of the 90’s. While our main mission is to reach the younger generation with a message of hope, we are happy to share our music with anyone who likes rock and a great message – young or old.

Amethyst Heart has performed in a wide array of venues, from clubs, to festivals, Six Flags, and multiple youth rallys and events, most recently the youth rally at Mars Hill. Stephen Hagewood, Director of Mars Hill, KGVA says, “As the Mars Hill coordinator and a member of a band myself, I have really appreciated the genuine enthusiasm and love for the Lord that shines thru in Amethyst Heart’s music and from the hearts of the band members themselves. I look forward to working with them again.”

Amethyst Heart’s debut album, “There is Hope” is a message of hope for all. It features a unique mixture of female vocals and an electric 12 string guitar combined with traditional driving rock guitars, drums and bass. It’s a culmination of songs that represent the truth of a Christian life – we suffer the same heartaches and trials that every human encounters, the only difference being that our faith in Christ gives us hope! There are no promises that life will be free from strife or pain, only the one that we will never be alone, and there is hope – always!
