Nashville, TENN.
Newly crowned Dove Award winner Blessing Offor releases a new Christmas Collection, Like A Child, today. Blessing brings brand new invention and creativity to two Christmas classics, and produces pictorial moments and soulful callbacks on the illustrative and striking all-original title track.

The Nigerian born, Nashville based multi-talented songsmith took home his first Dove Awards at the 2023 GMA Dove Awards for Pop / Contemporary Song of the Year for “Brighter Days,” and Short Form Music Video of the Year (Performance) for TobyMac’s “The Goodness,” featuring Blessing Offor.

“I have so much to reflect on and be thankful for this year,” Blessing says. “My family and friends have lifted me up with their strength and support, I don’t know where I’d be without them. Each day is a blessing, and I’m so grateful be doing what I love every one of those days – playing music, and reminding folks that God is good.”

Since its release, Pop / Contemporary Song of the Year “Brighter Days” has been established as a mainstream bastion, hitting top 25 on Mainstream AC radio and reaching the No. 2 slot on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart. “’Brighter Days’ is about the idea that we all experience dark days, but it’s those days that lead us to, and that makes the brighter ones worth waiting for,” Blessing says. The widespread appeal of “Brighter Days” has led to over 100M views on Tik Tok.

2023 has proven to be a big year for Blessing, as his full length debut My Tribe is officially the BIGGEST STREAMING DEBUT from a solo male artist at Capitol CMG. The album – which Billboard calls “a testament to his own hard-fought journey” – debuted in the Top 20 position on three Billboard charts – Christian /Gospel Albums, Top 200 Christian/Gospel Albums, and Current Digital Albums charts.
