Billy Walker Releases His First Solo Album ‘The Final Score’

Billy Walker is no stranger to the stage or radio airwaves. For nearly 30 years he traveled and sang with one of Southern Gospel music’s most beloved family groups, The Walkers. Last year, when his mother and sister retired, Billy made the decision to stay in full time ministry as a solo artist.

Fans across Christian and Gospel music have an opportunity to experience the culmination of a year’s worth of prayer, planning, and production as Billy releases his first solo album, The Final Score.

Billy Walker has partnered with Godsey Media Management throughout this production and rebranding process. CEO Scott Godsey took the lead during the A&R phase to find great songs that lined up with the new direction of Billy’s ministry. Scott also produced the tracks with a select group of Nashville’s finest musicians. GMM President Paul Secord produced Billy’s vocals and gave direction to the vocal arrangements. Together, the entire team at Godsey Media poured into a project that sits on the exciting edge of Southern Gospel and CCM, with beautiful shades of modern worship and even faith country. The Final Score is a testament to Billy’s roots, his amazing craft, and where God is leading him.
