During the two days of Passion 2014, more than 20,000 university students from all 50 states, more than 1,200 universities and 33 countries, were led in an anthem of God’s truth. Both through Scripture and through personal relationship with Christ, students learned the power of clinging to grace and living for what matters most.

Lead worshippers including, Grammy-Award winners Chris Tomlin and Matt Redman, along with Crowder, Kristian Stanfill, Christy Nockels, and Brett Younker, as well as special guest artists, filled Philips Arena with songs new and old that reverberated the truth of God’s Word.

Passion founder Louie Giglio was joined by Francis Chan, Christine Caine and John Piper as they brought powerful messages to the attendees of Passion 2014.

During Passion 2014 in Atlanta, students were given the opportunity to see the Word of God brought to the nation of Iran. The goal: $250,000 to fund the printing and distribution of 25,000 Bibles. As of Monday, Jan. 20, students exceeded the goal and gave $335,000 to send 33,500 bibles to the people of Iran.

The reminder to students that their guilt has been taken away and their sins atoned for through grace and goodness of God through Christ Jesus echoed throughout the two-day gathering.

“Our God can make all things new. We’re not holding out vain hope for you – some formula or some system,” Giglio said. “We’re talking about the resurrection power of Jesus. Whatever you need isn’t bigger than Jesus being raised from the dead.”

“That we may,” Giglio declared. “We are not obligated live a life according to the Word of God, but we may, because mercy has come and mercy sends us out.”

Also, as the students’ final call-to-action, Bryson Vogeltanz, Chief Steward of the End It Movement, encouraged students to continue raising awareness that slavery still exists by participating in Shine a Light on Slavery Day on Feb. 27. Giglio also announced plans for Passion 2015 in Atlanta on Jan. 2-4, 2015 and in Houston on Jan. 30-Feb. 1, 2015.

The Atlanta gathering of Passion 2014 is one of two opportunities to participate. On February 14-15, Beth Moore, Francis Chan, Judah Smith and others are set to teach during the second Passion 2014 gathering in Houston, Texas at the Toyota Center. About Passion Conferences

Led by a stirring in the heart of Atlanta-based pastor, Louie Giglio, Passion was birthed in 1997 to see the 20+ million college students across the globe awaken to the reality of an omnipotent and glorious Creator. Since then, millions of students from across the globe have joined the Passion movement, united across ministry and denominational lines, to seek the face of God in worship and prayer at nine conferences, four world tours and multiple one-day and regional events. Passion’s core scripture, Isaiah 26:8 states: “Yes, LORD, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts.” The small Passion Team is led by Louie Giglio and operates under the direction of a Board that is committed to spreading the fame of Jesus Christ to college students around the globe.
