Michael Farren Gives Us the Story Behind the Song “Fighting For Us”

Hey CCMmagazine.com fans & friends, Michael Farren [former lead singer/founder of the band Pocket Full Of Rocks] is sharing this song with us before of the October 5 release of his new album, Fighting For Us.  This is the first solo project from Michael. The title track from this album came during a hard season when Michael, a worship pastor at Gateway Church Franklin, was struggling to hold onto the truth of the lyrics. This whole project is full of songs of praise—even amidst questions—and with an echo of belonging throughout.
